Police Registration in the UK

Aupairs from NON-EU countries must register with the police within 7 days of arrival to the UK.

Aupairs must take their passports, as well as two passport-size photographs and a fee of approximately £35.

Aupairs are responsible for their own registration fee.

Aupairs who are staying in the Metropolitan Police Area, should go to the Overseas Visitors Records Office, Brandon House, 180 Borough High Street, London SE1 1LH, between 9am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Aupairs staying outside Metropolitan area, should contact their local police force for the address and opening hours of other police registration offices.
